The Perfect Guide to a SPOOKTACULAR Halloween in Cedar City!

Calling all ghosts, goblins and monsters… lions, tigers and bears, and whatever other ‘Trick-or-Treaters’ we have in Cedar City today, we have more than just treats to enjoy this Halloween!  Halloween is such a perfect opportunity to gather the family together!  From pumpkin patches, to spooky festivities, Cedar City definitely has something for every member of the family to enjoy this Halloween!  We have created the ultimate Halloween itinerary filled with events all day long to be sure your Halloween in Cedar City is super SPOOKTACULAR and filled with Halloween cheer!

10:00 AM – What a better way to start your Halloween day than a pumpkin latte! (or hot cocoa) from The Grind  (19 N Main) or Perks (750 S Main)

10:30 AM – Head to Red Acre Farm (2322 W 4375 N)  to checkout the awesome scarecrows in their 4th Annual Scarecrow Building Contest.

From Dawn to Dusk (8:00 am – 8:00 pm) at Red Acres Farm CSA (2322 W 4375 N, Cedar City), admission is FREE. 11:30 PM – If you haven’t picked your pumpkin yet, now is the time to do so, as time is running out!  Head to the Judd Pumpkin Patch (314 E 270 N, Paragonah) to pick your perfect pumpkin!

Judd Pumpkin Patch & Petting Zoo held Monday – Saturday 9:00 am – 7:00 pm. Pumpkins are .20 cents per pound (no entrance fee), Petting Zoo is FREE and Wagon Rides are $1.50 4yrs and up (3yrs and under FREE); wagon rides available Monday & Friday (5 – 7 pm) & Saturday (9 am – 7 pm), held at the Judd Family Farm (314 E 270 N, Paragonah). 2:00 PM – Let the Trick-or-Treating begin!  Head over to Bella Terra’s Halloween Party to kick-off the trick-or-treating for the day!

4:00 PM – Keep the treats coming!  Head over to the Cedar City Hospital for the annual Hospital Trail & Treat!

Cedar City Hospital Trail & Treat held 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm on the Hospital Walking Path (1303 N Main St, Cedar City) admission is FREE. Designed for trick-or-treaters 10 yrs and younger. Lots of silly games, spooky treats, and fun for the whole family. For information call 435-868-5826.

5:30 PM – Check out the Hallelujah Night Festival at SUU!

Hallelujah Night Festival held 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the Southern Utah University Parking Lot east of the PE Building (300 W University Blvd, Cedar City), admission is FREE.  Bring the whole family for lots of candy and prizes, FREE bounce houses, game booths, great music and more! 7:00 – 11:00 Take your pick from these spooky options to wrap up Halloween night!  From haunted houses to creepy comedy, the night doesn’t end early on Halloween around here!  

Old Man Jones Barn – Haunted Barn / House held Friday and Saturday & Halloween from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm and located at 335 N Bulloch Place. (Cedar City). Admission is FREE but they will be collecting donations for Jake Zigler, he is fighting terminal brain cancer. Off The Cuff Improve Comedy Show: OTC’s Screamin’ Fun Halloween! held 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm at Off The Cuff Comedy Improvisation Theater (913 S Main St, Cedar City), general admission is $7. Doors open at 7:30 pm and the creepy fun starts at 8pm. This show includes zombie dancing, a costume contest, and other Halloween festivities. For information and tickets visit www.otccomedy.com.

Rocky Horror Picture Show the Cult Classic is coming to Fiddlers Fun Center (170 E Fiddlers Canyon Rd, Cedar City at 9:00 pm! Playing four nights, Friday (26th), Saturday (27th), Sunday (28th) and Wednesday (31st). Come enjoy a classic! Please come in costume and be prepared to participate as safely as possible. Regular ticket price $3.50 per person.

The story centers on a young engaged couple whose car breaks down in the rain near a castle where they seek a telephone to call for help. The castle or country home is occupied by strangers in elaborate costumes celebrating an annual convention. They discover the head of the house is Dr. Frank N. Furter, an apparent mad scientist who actually is an alien transvestite who creates a living muscle man in his laboratory. The couple are seduced separately by the mad scientist and eventually released by the servants who take control.

The Haunted Woods held 7:30 pm – 11:00 pm at the Willow Glen Inn (3308 N Bulldog Rd, Enoch), admission is $7 per victim and $30 family pack (5 people). The last victims will be admitted at 10:30 pm. For information call 435-586-3275 or visit www.willowgleninn.com.

SUU USITT – Shakesfear Haunted Tours held 9:00 pm – 1:00 am beginning at the SUU Auditorium (300 W University Blvd, Cedar City), tickets are $5 at the door (cash or card). The tour runs through the Auditorium Theatre, to the basement, and then through the tunnel that connects the Auditorium to the Adams Theatre, and then through the Adams.
