MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th
Frontier Homestead Special Exhibit: by Mya Lixian Gosling held Monday – Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Frontier Homestead State Park Museum (635 N Main St, Cedar City), admission is $4 per person. Mya Lixian Gosling is the author and artist of Good Tickle Brain, the world’s foremost and possibly only stick-figure Shakespeare webcomic. Art Exhibition: Astrophotography held Monday – Saturday 9:00 am – 9:00 pm in the Cedar City Library in the Park (303 N 100 E, Cedar City), admission is FREE. The Cedar City Library will host an art exhibition in conjunction with the Astronomy Festival sponsored by Cedar Breaks and the Southern Utah Space Foundation featuring Astrophography. Weekly Children’s Story Time held Tuesday from 10:00 am – 10:30 am at the Frontier Homestead State Park Museum (635 N. Main St, Cedar City), FREE. The Frontier Story Time is an opportunity for preschool children to learn about the past through stories and history-related activities. Come for a different story and activity every week. Downtown Year-Round Farmer’s Market held 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm every Wednesday (45 W University Blvd / Center St, Cedar City), admission is FREE. The Downtown Year-Round Farmer’s Market offers the bounty of local farmers and back yard gardeners who grow organically year-round. Come and support local farmers buy buying fresh and local year-round. Only locally produced and grown fruit, vegetables, cheese, jam, bread, eggs, honey, and farm products are allowed to be sold. Yoga at SUMA held 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Southern Utah Museum of Art – SUMA (13 S 300 W, Cedar City), $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers. The Yoga at SUMA series brings the practice of yoga into SUMA’s open gallery spaces. Led by Cedar Yoga Space owner and instructor, Rebecca Simms, these hour-long classes are for all abilities and levels. No experience is necessary. Please bring your own mat. This program is free for students, $5 for members, and $10 for not-yet members. Classes are limited to 25 participants and are first-come, first-serve.

2018 Campfire Concerts in the Canyon live music begins at 7:00 pm in the Cedar Canyon Nature Park (1310 E Hwy 14, Cedar City) 1.5 miles east of Main and Center Street. Bring your own chairs or blankets and dress for cool summer evenings. Begin the evening with a welcome and announcements by the Southwest Wildlife Foundation followed by live music featuring Mountaintop Sound Steven Swift and April McPherson Rootz-blues. Fly-In Breakfast held 8:00 am – 11:00 am at the Cedar City Airport (2560 Aviation Way St, Cedar City), $5 entry includes breakfast and a morning of Aviation fun!
